What do you think about work planning?

Planning is allowed to take time since it will help with the execution.

Limited planning is fine, but it's all about rolling up the sleeves and work hard on the execution. Too much talking will not lead to performance.

Planning is always the key to success, and lots of discussions is good for the teams motivation and empowerment. Even when it comes to rather small activities.

What is your view on milestones?

There is never an excuse to fail meeting a milestone or a goal.

Sometimes there are reasons why milestones cannot be met.

I hate milestones, especially since I often fail to meet them.

How do you handle road blocks?

I take the initiative to find a solution to circumvent or remove the road block.

I notify other stakeholders and expect them to remove the problem.

I report this to my manager and underline that this is a risk in our progress.

What do you do if a team member is falling behind and risks failing to achieve the planned results?

I take over some of those tasks and do them myself instead. This is faster and less risky.

I help by coaching the team member to figure out how to handle the work load and catch up.

How do others regard your performance?

I perform like most of the others. I pull my weight.

People see me as a high-performer. I have often set an example for others to follow.

I sometimes struggle to keep up, and it would help if I received some training and assistance.

Which statement describes your view of motivation the best?

My manager or someone else need to explain the reasons why we need to meet targets, or I will find it rather pointless to work hard.

It's helpful when someone clarifies the reasons why we need to meet certain milestones and targets.

I am very self-motivated, other people rarely need to provide me with inspiration in order to meet targets.

What's your opinion on "learning on the job"?

It's ok when others don't perform that well in the beginning, we all need to learn.

Everyone should be given an appropriate training program, clear instructions, and coaching or mentoring from their manager. You can't expect people to learn things without proper support.

I think you need to perform from day one, and if someone is lacking, they need to find a way to push through so it doesn't affect our results.
